A number of clubs have started their end of season sales early, so we’ve scoured the official stores of every Serie A club to bring you the very best deals on current season shirts.
All details accurate as of 9th May 2020
SPAL have some form for running fantastic deals on their site. Their current season home, away and third shirts are half price (€39.50) with shipping to the UK a further €20. Sizes on home shirts are increasingly limited so move fast! If you’re taking the plunge, also take a look at the outlet section which has a few sizes of the 18/19 shirts available for just €20.
Sampdoria – you can pick up the holy grail, current season Samp shirts for just €37.50 (half price). Or, if you’re feeling flush, splash out on the full spec Quagliarella version for €75. UK shipping is €20, and to help spread those costs, its worth a rummage in the outlet section where you can pick up 18/19 and 17/18 shirts for as little as €25 each.
It’s quite rare to find a Le Coq Sportif Fiorentina shirts on sale, but that’s exactly whats happening over on their webite. Current season home and away shirts are priced at just €45. UK shipping is €12, but free on orders over €60 (i.e. if you double up on home and away shirts!)
Another half price deal can be found for Verona 2019/20 shirts, down to €40 each. While you’re there, you might also consider picking up an 18/19 shirt for just €23 from the outlet section. UK shipping is €20.
There’s no discount on Lazio’s current season shirts, but they’ve got a fantastic deal on their 2018/19 away and third shirts. These are priced at just €19.90 each with all sizes available, and you can get a further 10% off if you sign up to their newsletter. Shipping to the UK is €12, so you could get both shirts delivered for €48.
A watching brief…
There are a host of clubs that have begun to chip away at prices for current season shirts. Juventus, Napoli, Inter, Roma, Milan, Parma, Torino, Cagliari, Udinese and Lecce are all running discounts in the range 25-35% meaning prices of €50-€63, dependent on club. For the larger clubs, better deals might be found on other sites (e.g. Adidas and Nike), otherwise my advice is to hold fire for now.
Of note, Udinese (€32) have got some attractive deals on 18/19 shirts so worth checking those out too if prices for current season shirts start to fall. Lecce are also offering an unusual Buy One Get One Free on their 18/19 shirts, meaning you could pick up a home shirt for you and a friend for €35 (plus €20 shipping).
Keeping their powder dry…
A final word…
Some, but not all sites offer English translation, but don’t let that put you off. Most sites are fairly intuitive to navigate through and Google translate can be used to help you through any tricky bits.
As you will have noticed, shipping rates can prove a bit steep, making a bargain shirt somewhat less of a bargain. The best way around this is to spread the fixed postage cost across more than one shirt, for example, by clubbing together with a mate or using social media to find other interested buyers.
That’s your roundup! I’ll aim to keep this updated as we head into the summer…
