This article comes courtesy of a new guest blogger; my son, Alex! With the UK now in lockdown and schools closed, I set him the challenge of writing about his love for Sampdoria (that’s the English lesson). Now he’s typed it up and published (that’s the IT lesson) and we’re waiting to see how many hits it gets! Enjoy…
My name is Alex and I am 6 years old.
I started supporting Sampdoria when I was 4; my first game was at Watford. I have watched them play twice at the stadium in Genoa with my Dad. I love their blue shirts and the noisy supporters with their huge, colourful flags.
Last time I saw them play, they scored in the last minute against Brescia. It was very exciting and I got to stay up past midnight!
Fabio Quagliarella and Emil Audero are my favourite players. I was really lucky to get Emil Audero’s autograph. I hope I can go to see them play again soon.
Forza ‘Doria!
Well done Alex! I enjoyed reading your story
